Note to self: Put the camera in the car
When was driving home from work at 3:30 this morning I saw the most INSANE moon hovering low over the Santa Cruz mountains in the west. It was about 3/5ths full and HUGE. The moon was a super bright orangey-pink like I have never experienced before. I thought I was in a science fiction movie, it didn't even look close to being real. I realized that I have probably never been driving west in San Jose at that hour, and perhaps this is a common occurrence. I may get up at three one day next week to see if I can catch the moon in this state again (No I definitely won't, but it is a good idea). Don't ask why I was coming home from work at 3:30 AM, it's classified info. But this moon was seriously worth the sleep deprivation.
