About Jason ShellenJason Shellen left Google's New Business Development team in August of 2007 and created The Secret Agency, to incubate new product ideas. As an employee of Pyra Labs, Shellen was part of Google's acquisition of Blogger in 2003. During his tenure at Google, Shellen also became the founding product manager of Google Reader and holds provisional patents on feed and social media technologies. After earning his Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Mary's College of California, Shellen went on to consult with a number of Silicon Valley companies such as Adaptec, JNI, and Stargate Solutions. As business development manager at Initio, Shellen helped build the company from a small-startup to a core supplier of SCSI and 1394 technology--driving sales, marketing, and branding in the US, UK, and Japan. Jason Shellen is on the board of the New Progressive Coalition, LLC, the RSS Advisory Board, Dev HD and 8tracks.com.
