Will that be plastic or a hunk of plastic?
Back at the Comdex 2000 show Ericsson was showing off their vision of cellphone as wallet. 2000. It's 2004 and I can *maybe* buy a Palm app wirelessly on my expensive Treo 600. C'mon US of A how about catching up? Rafe Needleman writes about ' Mobile Phones: Credit Cards of the Future'. Maybe this idea just needs to congeal for another 4 years.

I know who's refreshing the money circuit: BANKS and BANKERS.
It is always funny to see what tech Ideas are a complete flop and which pan out. I just love watching tech evolve. I just don't see the cell phone currency bit panning out though.
